Eleanor Preece

Hi, my name is Eleanor. I've been a member of Martin's crew for five years...and it's been a busy five years! My first show was daunting but by the end I had more enthusiasm than ever. I was so pleased Martin wanted me as crew.

I first met Martin when I joined Radio Freeway. I was daunted at first, but as the years have gone by I think Martin has used my quirks to the business' advantage. I like to think I have helped to develop the business and contributed to the growth of Diamond Dust.

I have taken a different path to the one I originally had planned. I went to college, to soon discover that it wasn't for me. So now I hold down a steady job as a civil servant. One path that hasn't changed and that's my love for entertaining. My favourite show I have done with Martin was the post-premier party of Disney's "Tigger" movie. Working in association with Disney was brilliant. We travelled late at night to London after doing two children's parties that day. Entertainment business is not all glitz and glamour - as I've discovered!

I get on well with the rest of the crew, and had a challenge - when I first started, I had the role of sole female member; keeping the boys in order! I've had some great times working with different crew and I cherish every memory I have because no show is ever the same. My future is pretty much the same. I continue to work with Martin with the same enthusiasm as my very first day and I hope to make your party special. I hope to see you at your event in the future.
