My name is
Owain, and I have been working with Martin since
December 2002. I have travelled as far as Oxford to do a
disco and have done a lot of children's shows around
Swansea. I speak Welsh fluently, which is very handy
when I help Martin during playscheme gigs around South
and Mid Wales. I enjoy working on the show because every
gig is different and unique in its own way.
I went to
Ysgol Gyfyn Gwyr, Swansea to study Business, Design and
Technology. Since then, I’ve started my own P.A. company
and work in many Swansea nightclubs. I am also working
as a sound technician at Swansea Sound and The Wave. And
have recently been working for BBC Radio Wales and Radio
Cymru.
I am a volunteer at Radio Freeway, which I attend three
times a week. I am involved with the technical side of
the project. At the hospital radio station, I mainly
edit programmes, but occasionally I "tech op" them. I
have been involved with Morrivision Plus, Morriston
Hospital's Television Service for three years and
continue to increase my experience in media.
