Ethan Gray with Mascot the Robot Dog at the National Waterfront Museum with the Swansea Science Festival 2018
It has been described as Wales’ largest science festival, with a series of themed zones to delight and educate. Our KATT has been described as unforgettable! #8FootRobotCat. We made our annual return to The Swansea Science Festival on Sunday 4th November at the National Waterfront Museum with Mascot the Robot Dog and our 8 Foot Robot Cat. The new Roboteers were Corey Perrett and Ollie Edwards.
Ethan Gray provided an important role in the set up and transportation of the robots.
Our stand, as last year, was in the Upper Foyer (Upstairs) area of the National Waterfront Museum. You could not miss us.
It was amazing the number of adults and children that came over to say hello….some of the others ran away!!!
It was quite something amazing to see the interest show by teachers from Primary and Secondary school.
Perhaps we might see you at a school near to you soon. Visit our KATT Page for more information.
This has been our third year and we are looking forward to next years’ event. We would like to give a special thanks to Sian Jones, Events and Engagement Officer and all the staff of the National Waterfront Museum, and Swansea University for all the support, kindness and hospitality they show to us during their event. It was a privilege to work alongside other scientists and educators.
